The Kitty International School / KIS憲章


All children have the right to be accepted and loved by society, as well as the right to pursue their dreams.


All children have the right to build their own futures without relying on the will of adults.


All children have the right to not be discriminated against, and to pursue happiness, equality, and good health.


All children have the right to utilize all of their skills and use information to excel in their own life.


The Kitty Club Charter is our promise to the students. All children are unique and every child is worthy of respect as a pioneer of the future. We as parents pass on our hopes, dreams and strengths of life to each child in various forms. And in turn, the children will pass down these things to their own children, and so on through the next generations. We believe it is important to pass down something more than just property to our children.

School Policy of KIS Kindergarten

At KIS Kindergarten our principal and final goal is for our students to build a strong foundation for life, as well as learn the English language, by the time they have graduated.

KIS Kindergartenでは、子どもたちの卒園までに、英語力と共に最も大切で最終的な 課題として、生きる力の基礎が育つことを期待しています。

It can be said that the strength and foundation for life is achievable through intellectual education, physical education, music, fine arts, and learning of life skills. We believe that all of these things contribute to and build a strong foundation for life.

生きる力とは、大きな教育分野で言うと、知能教育、体育・音楽・芸術教育、人間力 の教育、を通して得られる総合的な力と言えるでしょう。そしてそれら全てのこと が、生きる力を支えてくれると信じています。

KIS Kindergarten also creates an environment to obtain these necessary experiences while keeping in consideration a student’s home environment, developmental stages, situations, and their individual feelings. We help to encourage students’ independent ideas and positive actions.

KIS Kindergartenはまた、幼児の家庭環境、発達段階、その時の状況や感情を考慮 して、これら必要な体験が得られるような環境を作り、幼児自ら主体的な思考や活動 ができるように援助します。



Grow up with English skill, basic intellectual ability (numbers/quantity/ shapes/words…etc.), and a healthy curiosity.


Grow up with good health and richness of humanity through outdoor activity, gymnastics, rythmique, music, rhythm, and fine arts.


Grow up into cheerful and positive children with communication skills in human relations, life habit, familiarizing themselves with society, and learning rules.

Guidance Field and aim

①Mental and physical health:To achieve a healthy balance between the mind and the body, through physical activity.

身体と精神の健康: 精神と肉体の健康バランスをとる。体を動かすことの楽しみ、爽快感、充実感を感じる。


②Language education: To learn not only the words necessary for the English language, but also how to use them properly. In addition, to obtain familiarity with not only the English alphabet, but the Japanese alphabets as well.

言語教育: 必要な言葉の意味を知り、使えるようになる。また、文字にも興味を持ち、親しむ。


③Communication: Deep friendly relationships, notice other people’s feelings. Communication: To learn how to communicate with and build rapport with other people through mutual study and the observance of rules.

コミュニケーション: 友達と深くかかわることにより、相手の気持ちに気付く。みんなで目標を見つける。ルールの大切さを学ぶ。いろいろな人(地域の人など)とふれあう。


④Building an independent and inquisitive wind: Challenge a new thing by oneself. Feel the joy of doing it by oneself. Have a healthy curiosity.

自主性や探究心: 自ら新しいことにチャレンジする。自分で出来ることの喜びを感じる。好奇心を持つように促す。宇宙や冒険をテーマにした遊びに取り組む。


⑤Sensitivity/expression/creation Be impressed by nature and life with admiration. Know the importance of to life. Adopt what the kids felt for an action and are going to express it. In molding to the music, have rhythm, a tone, a color, form, the feel, movement, structure, admiration, etc.

感性・表現・創造: 自然や生命に関心を持ち、感動できる。生命の大切さを知る。感じたことを行動に取り入れたり、表現しようとする。造形や音楽では、リズム、音色、色、形、手触り、動き、構造、などに関心を持つ。


⑥Lifestyle-related: Be able to exchange greetings. Stabilize emotion. Learn basic life manners such as for a meal, a restroom. Know a dangerous action and know the custom of how to evade in everyday life. Doing a fire drill.

生活習慣: 挨拶できるようになる。情緒を安定させる。食事、トイレなど基本となる生活マナーを学ぶ。日常生活の危険箇所や危険行動を知り、回避する習慣をつける。避難訓練をする。


⑦Intellectual ability for basics and right brain development: Be interested in a number quantity and a figure. Depending on your expectations of the course, we educate guidance corresponding to the examination for international or preparatory school. The training of the motor skills. A manner of writing (English/Japanese). A right brain development worksheet.

知的基礎能力と右脳開発: 数や量、図形などに関心を持つ。進路の希望に応じて、インターまたは私立小学校受験に対応する指導教育。指先の鍛錬。かきかた(英語・日本語)。右脳開発ワークシート。


⑧social order/ Communal living: Have a sense of regret concerning waste when the intrinsic value of an object or resource is not properly utilized. Have a heart for consideration environment. Have a heart in deference to the rule. Learn about an occupation and work. Adopt an event and games being conscious of world countries.

社会性・集団生活: 物を大切にする。思いやりの心を持つ。ルールを大切にする。職業や仕事について学ぶ。世界の国々を意識できるイベントや遊びを取り入れる。


⑨Positive education: Have value humor to behave brightly. Be forward and, through an experience to deepen the love of your family, raises the basics of character that does not yield to difficulty.

ポジティブ教育: 明るく振舞う、ユーモアを大切にする、家族の愛情を深める、などの体験を通して、前向きで困難に負けない人格の基礎を育成する。


Activity theme


A) English education: The aim through all activities is that we provide an education.

英語教育: 活動の全てを通して次のような目標を持ち、英語教育を行う。自分なりの言葉で表現する。相手の話を聞こうとする。日常必要な言葉が分かる。絵本や物語に興味を持つ。(私立小学校受験希望者には必要な日本語教育をします)


B) Play, Game: Free play, use toys, group game, outside activity, etc.

遊び、ゲーム: 自由遊び、玩具の使用、グループゲーム、屋外遊び、など。


C) Take a walk: Refresh, exercise, nature observation, hands on animals and plants, shopping experience, etc.

散歩: リフレッシュ、運動、自然観察、町の人などとのふれあい、動植物とのふれあい、買い物体験、など。


D) Exercise and rhythmic: Refresh, exercise, rhythm, music, English.

体操やリトミック: リフレッシュ、運動、リズム、音楽、英語の音感やリズム、など。


E) Music: Pleasure of the music, a sense of pitch, rhythm, musical instrument performance.

音楽: 音楽の楽しさ、音感、リズム感、楽器演奏の経験、英語の音感やリズム、など。


F) Art: Crayon, paste, how to use scissors, the fingers training, coloring picture, draw a picture, handicraft, right side brain development, color, shapes, learning expressions.

アート: クレヨン、のり、ハサミなどの使い方、手先の訓練、ぬりえ、お絵かき、造形、工作、右脳開発、色、形、表現などを学ぶ。


G) Life habit: Toilet, washing hands, brushing teeth, good habits (change clothes yourself.)

生活習慣: トイレ、手洗い、歯磨き等、良い習慣をつける。(年齢に応じては着替えも自分で)


H) Food education: Interesting food, enjoy eating, table manners, tasting various food, to get over dislike without even having tried. Shokuiku(Kanji: 食育) is the Japanese term for "food education". The law defines it as the "acquisition of knowledge about food and nutrition, as well as the ability to make appropriate decisions through practical experience with food, with the aim of developing people's ability to live on a healthy diet."

食育: 食物に興味を持つ、食べる楽しみ、テーブルマナー、いろいろな味を知る、食べず嫌いをなくすなど。


I) Hands on animals and plants: Animal contact, grow plants.

動植物とのふれあい: 動物と触れ合う、動植物を育てる、野菜や果物の収穫を経験する。


J) Event: Theme learning experiences the joy of life and pleasure. (Spring and Summer school, picnic, party, home stay, sport day, Halloween, Christmas)

イベント: テーマ学習、生活の変化、楽しみや喜びの体験。(スプリング、サマースクール、ピクニック、親睦会、ホームステイ、アスレチックミーティング、ハロウィン、クリスマスなど)


K)Work (Mainly more than 4 years old): Manner of writing (English/Japanese), numbers, arithmetic, figure, cognitive education work, examination-related guidance.

ワーク(主に4才以上): かきかた(英語・日本語)、数と算数、図形、知育ワーク、受験関連指導。
